  Encouraging !!!

  By this novel Paulo Coelho suggests that those who don’t dare to follow their dreams lead their life in misery and emptiness. He opines that fear of failure is the greatest obstacle in ones happiness. It is interesting to see that Coelho presents the person who denies following his dream as the person who denies to see God, and that "every happy person carries God within him". A very good message conveyed from the journey of Santiago, the lead character of the novel. Must read as it brings in positive approach towards life.

  The Alchemist is a story of Santiago, a boy who follows his dreams with courage. He decides to go to Egypt in search of hidden treasure. He starts his journey and meets many exciting people on the way to Egypt. By the end of the novel, he understands that treasure is there where your heart belongs. He finds that the real treasure is the discoveries he made and the wisdom he acquired. The Alchemist is a novel that may appeal to everyone as we all can identify with Santiago. A good novel by Paulo Coelho.
