If you are expecting to read about Exercise Science, go to a medical school and do your research. But if you are expecting to get fit and healthy, this book can serve as a good motivating and planning tool. The part I liked about the book is that, the author clearly mentions to go for long term goals like being healthy and fit and maintaining it all through instead of following unhealthy shortcuts to achieve short-term goals and then relapsing to unhealthy bodies and diet. Thinking and acting long-term automatically gives all that you wanted in the short term too...like a well toned/muscular/fat-free body, improves your self confidence and boosts your mood.
A good guide for shedding fat. The Author has focused more on mind motivation that workouts and diet.
I have already read the us edition but still bought this hoping to atleast see some India specific dishes in the nutrition section. but except a page of our Indian hero transformation everything else is same. definitely a good book but the Indian edition is a joke. just a low cost reprint.
