    A good read

The book provides a lot of insight into the Maoist agitation. However,it still seems to be a book that does not have an unbiased view; however, one must admit that its very difficult to come out of our biases and present a totally impartial view. A good read nonetheless and a recommend for some one who is interested in the topic.

    A complete MAOIST tale!!!

Just browsing across some titles at infibeam i found this book. It took a second for me to purchase it, and it was delivered in another 7 days. If you think why 7 days, then i wanna tell you that it was delivered at my home which is at BASTAR, as the title says. And 7 days is the best u can expect at such a remote part of country. Now about the book. First of all i want to thank mr. rahul pandita who gave me a better insight of my homeland, than what i got from the last 22 years. Bloodshed's given by Maoists or naxalites has paralyzed Bastar from the past few decades. Brutal killings and attacks at policemen has been a everyday news ticker here. Hence we the residents have developed a feeling of hatred towards them from the very childhood. Reading a literature about naxalites has become a eyebrow raising thing here. But this book has enabled me to form my opinion about maoists and their way of living. I learned about their principles and mission. I learned from the narration about Kobad and Anuradha Gandhy that many erudite and well settled people are also a part of naxalite movement. I learned that these people are not so wicked and inhuman as they are thought to be. I think the fair face of naxalites has been always overseen, which is unfolded through this book. Hats off to Mr. Rahul Pandita who traveled through those remote naxalite camps and had a dialogue with them. If you really want to know everything about maoist movement, their idea of parallel government and form your opinion about it then this book is a must read for you !!!
