    Booker Prize Winner

    Arundhati Roy received Booker Prize in 1997 for her debut novel “ The God of Small Things”. She has used unique and expressive language that is easy reading and accessible. The story is about two twins Rahel and her brother Estha. in a small village in India. Their family has a pickle factory that comes into conflict with the communists. They lost their childhood as they are trapped in tragedy in a single day that change their lives forever. The book is well written. This book has all the elements that make it a successful book.
