“My Favorite Mistake" blends together a perfect recipe of romance, suspense, sister’s love and friendship. This is a wonderful and delightful read. The plot was perfectly executed and it will bind you with the story till the end. Beth Kendrick does an excellent job at both keeping the reader informed about what happened in the characters' pasts and moving things along in the present. The story centers on Faith a very down to earth, helping and funny girl. She stayed in Los Angeles after she runs with a base ball player. She has a younger sister, Skye who lives in Minnesota. Faith is a culinary writer and travels around the world. Once she receives a call from Skye who wants her help as she is pregnant and her husband has left her. She is having financial trouble. Then, Faith decides to go back to Minnesota and help her sister. After reaching Minnesota, the adventures start. She makes plan to save Skye’s bar. Faith still loves Flynn, Skye’s bar partner. He proposed her for marriage ten years ago. She said no and flew with some other guy. They work together to save the bar and this brings them close again.
This was the first novel of Beth Kendrick and she created the miracle with this book. A high entertaining book that will amuse you with the exciting plot. Absolute read.
