He is the author of three other acclaimed thrillers, "Shattered Bone, The Kill Box," and "The Third Consequence," He lives in Farmington, Utah.

A teacher of art at Southern Utah University, he has illustrated several children's books. He and his wife, Connie, have two daughters and live in Utah.
