About the Author :

Clyde Robert Bulla has contributed to Shoeshine Girl as an author. Bulla was born on a farm near King City, Missouri. He divides his time between writing and traveling.

Leigh Grant has contributed to Shoeshine Girl as an illustrator. Leigh Grant has illustrated more than thirty books and has received many awards, including the New York Academy of Sciences prize for Best Science Book. In 1998, she was commissioned to paint a large mural in Christ Church, Greenwich, Connecticut, for the Tricentennial celebration. She lives in Norwalk, Connecticut.
