In this double-stranded narrative, the past and present are two separate stories that impact on each other. The journey of life manifests itself in the interaction between the stories. In both stories, two men struggle to make the most of a special moment in their lives. Christos Adamopoulos is a terminally ill man who experiences a moment of inspiration in the airport of Athens. He struggles to make sense of his past as he waits for his final journey home. He feels as though his inspiration is becoming one with the airport, and believes that once the airliner rises into the sky, the moment of inspiration will be complete. Tasso Voukas is a writer who feels inspired to write a novel. He tries to make the most of his inspiration before it vanishes. He spends long hours writing his novel until he learns that his wife is terminally ill. At the end, the two stories intertwine, revealing the role that inspiration plays in the relationship between past and present.
