About the Author :

Diane Ackerman has contributed to Within the Stone: Nature's Abstract Rock Art as an author. She lives in Ithaca, New York, and Palm Beach, Florida.

John Horgan has contributed to Within the Stone: Nature's Abstract Rock Art as an author. Dr. John Horgan (St. Andrews, Scotland) is a senior research fellow at the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence, University of St. Andrews. A chartered psychologist, his research interests relate to the psychological aspects of political violence, with a particular focus on how and why people become involved in, and disengage from, terrorism.
