A moment later, with a haughtily permissive wave of his hand toward the chafing drivers and chauffeurs, he strolled back to Pollyanna.

Eleanor H Porter has contributed to Pollyanna Grows Up as an author. Eleanor Hodgman Porter was born in New Hampshire in 1868 and studied music in Boston until 1901, when she gave up singing to pursue writing. She died in Massachusetts in 1920.
