About the Author :

Jurgen Scheible is an award-winning media-artist, musician, telecommunications engineer and researcher. Scheible has extensive knowledge in mobile technology and has previously worked for a span of 8 years with Nokia in Finland, holding various positions such as programmer; project manager, product manager and competence transfer manager. Jurgen is as a Forum Nokia Champion for his driving vision to be a bridge builder between art, engineering and research. Jukka Laurila is leading the development of the Python for S60 platform at Nokia. Recently Jukka has turned Python for S60 into a Nokia Open Source project, and making Python for S60 compatible with the Platform Security model introduced in S60 3.0 and Symbian 9. He actively supports external developers, and evangelizing the use of PyS60 in developer conferences Ville Tuulos is a researcher with the Complex Systems Computation Group in University of Helsinki. He has designed and implemented various large-scale systems for mobile computing, image processing and information retrieval both for academia and industry. His latest projects include a scalable, full-fledged open-source search engine and a massive urban game, Manhattan Story Mashup, implemented with Python for S60. Ville is always seeking new ways of making code more robust, more agile and more aesthetic.
