He is the author of the bestselling, Jolt Award-winning book, Effective Java. He holds a Ph.D. from Carnegie-Mellon University and a B.S. from Columbia.

Delivery was prompt for shipping within India. The book condition itself is good, by Indian PaperBack standards. As for the contents of the book, Joshua Bloch is one of the most highly respected authors on Java, and I recommend this to any one interested in learning the finer points of Java.
