About the Author :

E B White has contributed to The Elements of Style as an author. A legendary writer for decades at "The New Yorker" and the author of many books of essays, E. B. White also wrote the children's classics "Stuart Little", "Charlotte's Web", and "The Trumpet of the Swan". He lived in New York City and Brooklin, Maine.

Maira Kalman has contributed to The Elements of Style as an author. Maira Kalman is an illustrator, author, and designer. Most recently, she illustrated a new edition of Strunk and White's "The Elements of Style," She has created many covers for The New Yorker, including the famous map of Newyorkistan (created with Rick Meyerowitz).
