Painted with ink and watercolors on paper, Goodbye to Griffith Street is Renne Benoit's first picturebook, but she has been drawing pictures for a living for several years, a dream come true. Growing up in Ottawa, Renne loved playing in the snow. As she was painting John making snow angels and stars, she enjoyed imagining that she was making them herself. Renne lives and works in Leamington, Ontario.
