If you are a beginner, then this book is really helpful in improving your vocabulary and grammar. This books offers a simple way to increase your vocabulary and improve your grammar. Even though the book was written over 50 years ago, almost every word in it is still part of an essential modern vocabulary. The book also deals with the basic fundamentals of English. The book is divided into chapters and then into sessions. Every session starts with 10 words to learn. The meaning of each of the word is explained for easy memorization. This book is not only very effective for building a strong vocabulary, but it also teaches the reader the derivation of words. The book has interesting chapters that explains how to pronounce, spell a word, use of proper grammar. Further, the book has ''Review'' and ''Test Your Learning'' sessions through which you can never forget the words you have learnt. The methods Norman introduces to teach vocabulary are fun, refreshing and lasting! Extremely good for all ages particularly for teens.
I never thought that building vocabulary would be so easy. But yet you can't just read a vocabulary book and expect to have great vocabulary. The key is to read. Whether it be the newspaper, a magazine, or a novel. Overall, this book is a great learning experience and most efficient. The book is readily available and is much cheaper than any other book with the same concept. Superior book !!!!
