I read this book when I was preparing for my MBA. I heard a lot about “Snapshots from Hell: The Making of an MBA” that I decided to read it. This book reveals Peter Robinson’s first year MBA days in Stanford. He also gives an account of his roommates, their funny activities and above all his struggles. He devoted 18 hrs a day in the first year. Mr. Robinson says that the main purpose of the book is to answer the question what a B-school is like? He successfully did that. This book takes a curious, comprehensive walk through the academic year, pausing to collect perspectives from odd angles. Mr. Robinson paints a grim picture of life at one of the country's elite business schools. Mr. Robinson compares Standfort with Harvard. I enjoyed the parts where he described the occasions where he found himself completely lost in classes and study groups. I found the book to be revealing, pensive, and hilarious. This book is very entertaining and a must read for all aspirants of MBA.
