Professor Manohar Prasad
of Mechanical Engineering Department of I IT Kanpur has authored three books of Energy Conversion and one book of Refrigeration and Airconditioning. He has guided about two dozen postgraduate students and published five dozen research papers in the national and international journals and conferences. In recognition of research contributions he was rewarded Sir Rajendra Nath Mookherjee memorial gold medal and N. A. lyengar memorial prize of the Institution of Engineers (I). He is also member of professional bodies including that of the International Institute of Refrigeration (Paris).
