About the Book :

About the Author :
VITTAL R. SRINIVAS (M.S., M.Engg., Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York, USA), was a Project Officer in the Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He completed dual masters level education from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York, USA and has done training in biological applications on problems related to medicine mainly using computational approaches. Currently he is pursuing research towards his doctoral degree at Rice University, Houston, Texas. An interdisciplinary scientist, with varied background that range, from engineering to cell biology and bioinformatics. Mr. Vittal Srinivas prefers to be called an engineer-biologist. He is interested in solving problems that impinges on molecular medicine and etiology of diseases using a multidisciplinary approach.
