About the Author :

Sally Clay has contributed to On Our Own, Together: Peer Programs for People with Mental Illness as an editor. Sally Clay has been a leader in the mental health consumer/survivor movement for over twenty years. Instrumental in founding three consumer-run organizations, she worked as a therapist for Windhorse Associates, an alternative treatment program, and was a founder of Altered States of the Arts.

Patrick W Corrigan has contributed to On Our Own, Together: Peer Programs for People with Mental Illness . Patrick W. Corrigan, PsyD, is Professor of Psychology at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Previously, he directed the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation at the University of Chicago. Dr. Corrigan's research interests include psychiatric rehabilitation, team leadership, consumer-operated services, supported employment, and the stigma of mental illness.
