About the Author(s):
U.K. Singh
graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1973, form MMM Engineering College, Gorakhpur, and did his Master`s degree in Analysis & Design of Process Equipment form MLNNIT, Allahabad. He was awarded Ph.D. in Machine Design. He is a mechanical engineer of international level. He is presently working as head in Mechanical Engineering Deptt. in Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (K.N.I.T.), Sultanpur. He is teaching this subject for the last 33 years for B.Tech. and M.Tech. courses.
He has published more than 30 papers in national and international journals and attended many national and international conferences where he has presented several research papers. He is also author of
Problems & Solutions in Mechanical Engineering

by the same publisher.
Manish Dwivedi
is presently working as a Dy. Director in Aryavart Institute of Technology & Management, Lucknow, India. He obtained his B.E. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marathwada University, Aurangabad, and M.Tech. from K.N.I.T., Sultanpur. He is actively involved in teaching and research. He has attended many conferences and presented several research papers. He has co-authored several books like:
Introduction to Non-conventional Energy Resources, Power Plant Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, and Problems & Solutions in Mechanical Engineering.
