"A refreshing read in places positively inspiring... a welcome addition to the literature on how to engage with families and focus on the areas of concern whilst also maximising the emphasis on change potential and strengths." Martin C. Calder. a carefully written, concise bookrelating methodologies and skills developed in family therapy to broader applications. Written by practitioners for practitionersThe authors set out to bring together two types of practice - that geared to social inequalities and that geared to therapy - noting that each practice type has historically marginalised the others discourse. It acknowledges similarities, but it does not seek conceptual merger or closure. Along the way, the conversation bears considerable fruit.
