About the Author :

William A Mc Eachern has contributed to Econ Micro as an author. William A. McEachern began teaching large sections of economic principles when he joined the University of Connecticut in 1973, and in 1980, he started offering teaching workshops around the country. The University of Connecticut Alumni Association conferred on him its Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award in 2000. He earlier won the Association's award for Distinguished Public Service. Professor McEachern has published books and monographs on public finance, public policy, and industrial organization, and his research has appeared in a variety of journals, including Economic Inquiry, National
