About the Author :

David Baird has contributed to Lord Krishna's Cuisine: The Art of Indian Vegetarian Cooking as an illustrator. Each Frommer's guide is personally researched and thoroughly updated by a single author or a small team--unlike Fodor's, which compiles their guides on an assembly line. David Baird is a writer, editor, and translator based in Austin, Texas. He spent part of his childhood in Morelia, Mexico, and later lived for 2 years among the Mazatec Indians in Oaxaca, while he was doing graduate fieldwork.
