About the Author :

Ana M Briongos has contributed to Winter in Kandahar as an author. Briongos is an award-winning Spanish travel writer. She began her love affair with Iran in 1968, when she took up a scholarship at the University of Tehran, and the ensuing thirty years have only served to deepen her intimate knowledge of the country.
