This book `Mathematics-III` is primarily designed for B.Tech., III Semester (EE and ECE branch) students of Rajasthan Technical University. The subject matter is discussed in a lucid manner. The discussion is covered in six units: Unit-I: Laplace Transform, Unit-II: Fourier Transform, Unit-III: Fourier Series, Unit-IV: Calculus of Variations and Z-Transform, Unit-V: Complex Variables-I, Unit-VI: Complex Variables-II. The present matter can be useful for engineering students of all Indian universities.

Gupta, a faculty of Mathematics at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani (Rajasthan) obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (Haryana). His areas of specialization are Applied Statistics and Operations Research and a large number of students have submitted their Thesis and Dissertations on these topics. He has about 20 years of teaching experience of Graduate and Postgraduate classes. He has a number of research papers and books to his credit. He is also member of different committees of various Universities and Institutions.
Mr. Ajender Kumar Malik is presently working as a faculty in Department of Mathematics, BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pilani (Rajasthan). He obtained his Master degree in Mathematics from Gurukula Kangari University, Haridwar (Uttarakhand) and submitted his Ph.D. thesis in inventory control at C.C.S. University, Meerut (U.P.). His areas of interest are inventory control and supply chain management. He has more than 4 years of teaching experience of Graduate and Postgraduate classes. He has a number of research papers and books to his credit.
Dr. Vipin Kumar is currently faculty of Mathematics at BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pilani (Rajasthan). He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from C.C.S. University, Meerut (U.P.). His areas of interest are operations research and supply chain management. He has about 14 years of teaching experience of Graduate and Postgraduate classes. He has published a number of research papers in national and international journals of repute and is the author/co-author of four books.
