The story revolves around the middle aged; yet attractive protagonist Professor Robert Langdon and Vittoria, a physicist who unlock the code in a quest to save the Vatican.

Angels & Demons is certainly one of the most intriguing books that never ceases to be a page turner. Robert Langdon and the nuclear physicist Vittoria Vetra go in search of Vittoria’s father`s killers. The same people are rumored to have stolen the anti-matter from CERN and find themselves in an interesting travelogue of the Vatican City.

The reader is taken along a journey of the truth behind religion and the war with sciences that was staged through the various epochs. These events could have unfurled in any place of the world, yet the impeccable fashion in which the writer brings the characters to life and throws a dash of intelligent ‘code cracking’ proceedings are indeed the main highlights.

Angels & Demons lives up to the expectations of the reader and is certainly an intriguing novel; you wouldn’t want to leave unread. Get into the skin of Robert Langdon and get into the investigation; as the truth unravels one by one. A true pleasure read and aptly a bestseller.
