fascinating sci-fi thriller

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams Classic is incredible book. The story is a sci-fi thriller based on the concept of alien ( creature of other planet). The story revolves around Arthur Dent who is a ordinary citizen of United Kingdom. His house is being demolished as the local council is putting a bypass through--his house. He desperately want to save his house. He has a friend Ford Prefect. but later realizes, with the help of Ford Prefect, that his galactic home, Earth, is going to be destroyed as well. Ford and Arthur then catch a ride on a spaceship and are Arthur finds himself on the adventure of a lifetime. Arthur is the only human being on the galaxy. Then, Arthur comes to know that Ford is not human and he is a alien from a planet called Bettleguise and is a reporter in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the most widely sold book in the known Universe. hey set out to discover the meaning of life and travel to the newly constructed Earth II, where Slartibartfast reveals the truth about the original Earth, that was destroyed by the Vogons.

Adams is an absolute genius in giving names for his characters. All the characters and story is well developed. This book is very gripping revealing about spaceships, other planets and aliens. This book will surely amaze its readers with the interesting facts about the galaxy and universe.
