About the Author(s):
Dr. D.M. Mithani has a master`s degree in Economics and a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from the University of Mumbai.
Dr.Mithani has a long teaching experience of over three decades serving in India at the University of Mumbai besides his association with the University of Utara Malaysia (UUM) at Malaysia. He was an elected member of the Executive Committee of the Indian Economic Association during 1988-1994.
Dr.Mithani is a prolific writer. He has contributed widely to many journals, national and international seminars and conferences. He has published over 50 books in the field of economics. His latest publications include International Economics, Economics Ideas of the Magnificient Seven and Dynamics of Monetary Fiscal Policy- An Indian Perspective, Modern Public Finance and Economic Analysis
