While in college he wins thousands of dollars and after graduation gets himself invited to a high stakes game in Baltimore, Maryland. The urge to play big time is now part of his life but he soon finds out that it is not as rosey as thought. He gets married, has children and holds down a very good job but all of this is soon lost due to his addiction to the game. In an effort to pay back a loan shark he goes deeper in debt and he and two of his poker friends plot a heist of one million dollars. There is high drama, intense confrontations, murder and exciting poker games.
