  The Last Don Pumps Up Your Adrenalin!

  If you’ve read the Godfather by Mario Puzo, then this is a kind of refresher and a follow through story for you to read. I had the great relish of picking this book up from my neighborhood book store, and I read it straight up in a couple of nights. It brings back the Godfather memories and the scenes from family organized crime in the United States. I'm dead sure that if I call it the finest Mafia novel in time after the Godfather, I won’t be mistaken. For those who have not yet read the novel, the Last Don is about the last crime family in the America which has become quite dominant in organized crime such as drugs, gambling, and now even Hollywood. Domenico Clericuzio is the last big don in the story who wants to see his nephews well settled. The two cousins are Cross De Lana and Dante Clericuzio, who hate each other because of a past mafia tussle. There are other subplots that will keep the reader interested. However, there are a couple of gory scenes as it’s a mafia story along with some sexual descriptions. I’d suggest that only those who are comfy with handling such material read this book. Otherwise, it’s a great story with unlimited action throughout. Absolutely recommended for people who are addicted to the mafia genre of stories.
