Interesting and Useful book for job seekers

Getting a job in the Indian scenario can throw up all odds against you, so do not be discouraged if you are unable to locate a job or be placed in a good company according to expectations. So it’s a common scenario in the country wherein you are are called for many interviews, but they don't end up getting a job.

This may be for a variety of reasons, some of which are highlighted in this book. The book discusses on the issue of how to take the first few important steps while climbing up the corporate ladder. While many people are usually good at the hard core skills, they fail to understand that soft skills in the corporate world are usually important. This book is equally applicable for those who are applying for a new job or who would like to remain and grow in their current jobs.

It's a great book written by the author who uses actual material to describe errors make while going through the process of employment. With over 450 pages, this book has ample material for professionals who need to go through the process of interviews to make it big in the job.

Many of my friends had previously suggested the book titled 'You're hired'. They said one who sets foot in the corporate world ought to read the book. This is a book that would encourage you to be more optimistic and less discouraged.

It is a step-by-step guide especially written for Indian job contexts and situations. A complete guide to the corporate ladder and whether you want to get a new job or retain the one you already have, the book is most ideal. The book is not only fun to read but easy to follow as well. It provides an insight into the most frequently made communication and soft skill errors and helps in rectifying them.

The book uses real CVs and emails to exemplify the appropriate language and writing skills, required to perform well in the corporate sector. Good communication skills are the requisite to survive in a job and the book attempts at simplifying the task. Truly worth the time and money spent.
