"God save you kindly " says he. "God bless yer honor's honor " says Larry. "It's a proud day fer me own father's son." "Yes;" says the merrow-king, "an' it's yer own father's father an' meselfhas had many a shanacus together, with plenty o' damp in the tay-pot. It's the pattern of a pretty woman ye have, Larry dear; an' now mind what I'm tellin' ye. I'm not sayin' fer ye to be decent to her--all that's in the O'Connor blood, --but mind; niver lave her alone near runnin' water, nor after nine of the night.
