This one of the most influential book of the century. It should be read by everyone who aspires to take the journey inwards.
Truly awesome experience!!!
Autobiography of a Yogi is a good spiritual book. It give an introduction to ancient science of yoga and its tradition of meditation. The book is about Paramahansa Yogananda’s spiritual journey throughout his life. He was a spiritual child since birth. He always longed for self-realization. So, he took sanyasa under Sri Yukteshwar when he was 22 years. The paragraphs describing his early days under Sri Yukteshwar are interesting. It is the story of many saints, mystics, scientists, freedom fighters, thinkers, philosophers, and other men and women Yogananda met during his life. He describes yoga, kriya yoga. He was a great spiritual guru of his time. This is a classic spiritual literature by him. This book is one of the top-selling books of all time and has been translated into 18 languages around the world. This clearly speaks its popularity among the readers. Even I like this book most.
