Sidney Sheldon is a fantabulous author. So, when you are reading his books, the expectations automatically go high with the book. The same happened with me, I was looking for some more mystery and excitement. For me, this book had the most complex storyline. I have read many of Sidney sheldon’s books, but this one is a bit complicated. There are certain paragraphs that were difficult to perceive. However, “The Best Laid Plans is a completely satisfying novel. The story is portrayed well but somewhere the element of suspense and thrill was missing. The summary is as follows. There is a PR Executive, Leslie Stewart beautiful and confident. She falls in love with Oliver Russell who is a rising politician. Oliver betrays Leslie and marries to another girl in political gambit. She decides to take revenge from Oliver. So the story moves with Oliver making career in politics and Leslie to make plans to destroy him. The characters are recognizable and the plot is compelling. But this is not as dazzling and thrillers as his other novels. But yet it’s a good entertainer. You can read in your leisure time and I assure you that it will not let you down.
