Cornelius Kolig, Jochen Traar, Ines Doujak, Tomas Hoke, Hubert Lobnig, Herwig Turk, Birgit Knoechl, Ramacher & Einfalt, Gerold Tusch, Johannes Domenig, Barbara Bernsteiner oder Claus Prokop legen den Schwerpunkt ihrer Arbeiten auf einen thematischen, historischen oder raumlichen Ortsbezug. Das Werk mit zahlreichen farbigen Abbildungen ist eine Erganzung zur dreibandigen Publikation "Emanzipation und Konfrontation. Kunst aus Karnten 1945 bis heute. Architektur aus Karnten seit 1945 und Kunst im offentlichen Raum heute."
