This book features short stories on a variety of themes which reflect the harshness and irony of life.The stories deal with a wide range of emotions- the anguish of a woman whose husband has become a stranger, the grief of a mother for the child she has lost and the callousness of a son who abandons his mother.
The stories display the ambiguous nature of morality and the helplessness of human beings in the face of a fate they can neither predict nor control.They also portray the myriad facets of the female psyche and provide extraordinary insights into the complexity of human nature.
About the Author R.P.Sisodia was born in Udaipur, Rajasthan.He completed his postgraduation in natural sciences from Udaipur.He also published a book of his poetry at the same time. He entered the prestigious Indian Administrative Service in 1991 and was allotted the Andhra Pradesh cadre.He has been serving as an IAS officer in Andhra Pradesh since 1993.Fond of painting sketching and reading this is his first collection of short stories.
