About The Author
Dr. (Brig.) Sunder Lal MBBS, DCH, MD is currently Professor in Community Medicine at MMIMSR, Mullana (Ambala). An eminent public health expert who served as Professor and Head, Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, PGIMS, Rohtak, he has over 37 years of teaching, training and research experience in the field of community medicine. He was ICDS consultant for over 25 years, an honorary Chief Editor of Indian Journal of Community Medicine, Secretary General of IAPSM for 9 years, and distinguished himself as Fellow of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine. He has published 182 scientific papers in various national and international journals of repute and served on the editorial boards of several scientific journals. He retired as Deputy Director General of TA (Medical) with a meritorious award. He was recipient of Dhanwantri Oration award, Harcharan Singh Oration award, Srivastava award, and prestigious ICMR award (Amrut Modi Prize) for research work in maternal and child health.
Dr. Adarsh MBBS retired as Senior Medical from HCMS (1) and served about 27 years in various capacities such as Medical Officer, Medical Officer incharge of postpartum centre, and Medical Officer incharge of urban health centres.
Dr. Pankaj MDS is currently Asstt. Professor in the field of public health dentistry. He has attended various conferences, scientific sessions and conventions, and has actively organised many dental camps and school dental health programmes. He has contributed towards national oral health care programme by IDA. He has published five papers in national journals of repute, presented four scientific papers and has been a speaker at the CEDP Programmes.
