About the Author :

Vinay Bharat-Ram hails from an old industrial family. Educated at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and at Ann Arbor, Michigan and Harvard in the US, he holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Delhi. He started his career in DCM Limited, of which he became chairman in 1990.

He has many articles to his credit in both economics and management topics. He has published two books in economic theory and a translation of Kalidasa’s epic Meghadootam in Hindi verse.
