  John Grisham’s “ The King of Torts” is a fast paced legal thriller on tort lawyers. How these lawyers get huge money from big corporations and get one third of that. This is the story of greedy money-grabbing lawyers and their legal games. This story revolves around Clay Carter who is a public defender. tort lawyers are the men who win billion-dollar class-action settlements from corporations selling bad products. They file large class action suits that brings massive payouts from corporations and get huge money. Once Carter gets information from a man about a drug company and that drug is compelling people to murder. He makes money with this information. The man keeps on giving him the inside informations of big companies and Carter uses information for him. This sets Carter on a furious path to wealth and the moniker "King of Torts. We follow the rise and fall of Carter. However, the end is predictable. This is a pure Grisham style book. There is good and evil and clear delineation between them. This book has lots of thrill, surprises and twists for the reader. This is the work of a master writer with a strong as well as entertaining message.
