My Beloved's MBA Plans
Amazingly great book. The author has certainly done a very fulfilling job by summarizing so many inspiring stories.
Many times you gain and many times you sacrifice in order to be an achiever.
I once saw in Spider Man movie subtitle Great Things Bring Great Responsibilities
getting an MBA is certainly a similar feat
and it comes at a cost. Many times we don't realize the cost is more personal rather than materialistic in nature.
I am sure one will enrich himself or herself after reading this book
A great read
Inspiring stuff. Loved it!
By Balaji Subramanian,
A commendable first book from Disha. The way each story has been narrated is simple yet thoroughly captivating, and is sure to leave the reader spell-bound. I personally know a couple of people mentioned in the book and was really surprised and equally inspired, when I came to know about the hurdles they had to face and the sacrifices they had to make to prove to the world that they had indeed made the right decision to seek an MBA in the middle of a well-settled career. I'd recommend this to b-school aspirants of all ages, and not just the married ones.
Review for My Beloved's MBA Plans
By Ajay Singh Chauhan,
The best thing about this book is it talks about the impact of a single decision on the life of an individual, which quite resembles the actual life of a human being.
These small stories are written beautifully and talk about the people who take some decisions because of the circumstances ,wherein things look so weird initially but later on as the time passes things get settled down in an amazing way that it initiates adorable moments in the life of individuals.
No one can imagine that one year spent in the collage can make drastic changes in your life but trust me that is what is complexity of the life is and this is something what is the one the best things this book has. Only a person who has empathy can understand these things because you got to live the moments in order to describe it . It gave a new ray of life to one of the characters where in things were gloomy initially then later on it became the best decision of her life. Human emotions are so complicated that you cannot describe it just by writing but trust me the way it is written in the book it enables you to you feel the same what the character is going through which is amazing.
A good read!

My BelovedâÂÂs MBA plan comes as fresh air compared to the countless MBA love stories written before. DishaâÂÂs debut novel is realistic and beautifully highlights the dynamics of the relationship of couples going through the whirlwind journey of MBA. The characters and emotions are real and one can easily connect with their experiences. It is difficult to believe that this is DishaâÂÂs first novel; the depth of emotions is beautifully captured in her writing. Disha has a long way to go in the literary world , looking forward for more such wonderful stories in the future.
More than just a book.....
By Nishkarsh Kaushik,
Well to be frank, I am frankly not a bookish person but knowing the author personally I always had this "Do not dare to miss it" sort of feeling....!! However, lucky me as I started with the very first story....I was completely into it and now as I am moving ahead with other stories....I do feel proud and happy to be knowing Disha....not too close enough...but its a pleasure :)
All these stories...in some or the other way can be related to the fears and struggles we face everyday in our lives and also motivates us in reading how these actual people like us...out of all the courage, faith and love for their dreams and dear ones.....drive into the risky lanes of lives and come out as winners.....!! Suffering through a lot of confusions and indecisiveness myself, with every single page of this book.....I am getting my share of lessons about life and the risks..which are worth taking!!
Thank You Disha....for such an amazing piece of writing!! :D

Enjoyed the book - a good read and connects well to life on campus...look forward for more such books..
A good read
Extremely engaging, written very beautifully, the book showcases today's generations' take on relationships quite lucidly. I revisited more than a few stories in the book a couple of times.
Worth a read. Only if....
Basically, I didn't like the cover design of the book. The work is so immature, yet the plot seemed interesting, so I got it. However, after reading the entire book I recollected the old saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover." Well, the cover design of this book and the story enclosed inside are in complete contrast with each other.
It is bunch of real-life stories narrated in almost the people's own words. I have to say that the author's language was very stunning compared to the cover design.
The best aspect of the book is its size. It is just 110 pages thick! It is one of the few books that I completed in 1 day!
Overall, the book is good. Read it only if you like the description, because not everyone will like the book like this...
Its a part of your life
By Saurabh Shrivastava,
The best part about this book is that you could relate some struggle/passion of your life with the stories from the book. It was so refreshing to read. I would recommend the book to everyone who want to follow their passion. Usually people associate MBA/Job life as just a professional part but as I always believed there is always a personal side attached to it and the stories from the book depicts the same, very beautifully.

A must ready book for every one. This book was awesome. The way of presentation was really nice especially the opening lines of every stories.while reading this book I felt that just like I am in a motivational session.Actually I am preparing for MBA entrance exam's.Before reading this book I am in a felling I can't make good b-schools due to some problems.but this book has changed my thought process and makes me to think that my problems are small compared they had faced.
Worth its weight in Gold (Literally)
This book is absolutely wonderful and is literally equal to its weight in gold (a very light book btw) if you are a prospective applicant to a executive MBA program. It is not a Novel. It is not a Fiction. It is not a book with made-up characters or incidents. It is the untold story of many of the brave and courageous couples who have dared to dream big and who have made a important decision about career and family. The book takes you around the IIMC campus and shows you a sneak preview of the 16 couples lives who have made a brave decision to venture into something that very few people would.
A delightful, at times thought provoking, book
By Ganesh Shenoy,
Writing a book like "My Beloved's MBA Plans" is simple but not easy. While they share a common theme, each story celebrates the unique journey of it's protagonists in a heart-warming package, narrated in simple words without a lot of fuss. And while I like all of them, Geet's and Pari's stories really touch your heart, and make you think about your own life and it's priorities. Waiting for the next book eagerly. Good luck.
Teaches you to beat all odds to achieve your dream
I had pre-ordered this book. The book gives a good insight about people who go against all odds to achieve their dreams. I must say it was an exciting read from a first time author and I completed the book in one sitting. Congratulations Disha and look forward to your future publications.
The true stories penned in the book is not only for MBA aspirant only according to me, the stories inspire one to respect and trust decision of people one love, hold on to them and be positive for bright future.
Its a must read for all. Very inspiring.
Nice refreshing read...
Just finished with the book and as soon as I finished, I thought of writing a review. The book is a bunch of inspiring stories about people who followed their dreams against all odds. What amazed me about the book is the way it is written. It is truly engaging. I finished it in just two sittings. I have read some of the books by Rashmi Bansal which has a structure similar to this book but deals with a different subject, but I found this book better than those written by Rashmi Bansal, as this book is thin, precise and just the right size. In addition, the writing style doesn't indicate that this is author's debut novel. The author is already a professional and I would not be surprised if this book goes on to become a bestseller. To sum up, its a great read. Just go for it.
