The ideas are new and Scarpetta is set to enthrall her fans in this Patricia Cornwell book.

Although rejected by publishers, it went on to win the prestigious Edgar, Creasey, Anthony, and Macavity awards. Patricia Cornwell has written a series of bestsellers featuring Kay Scarpetta and her detective sidekick Pete Marino. Besides, she has also written three best selling novels featuring Andy Brazil.
