Alyssa Satin Capucilli has contributed to Scat, Cat! as an author. Alyssa Satin Capucilli is the author of the popular books about the little yellow puppy named Biscuit as well as the My First I Can Read Book "Pedro's Burro", illustrated by Pau Estrada. She lives in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.

Paul Meisel has contributed to Scat, Cat! as an author. Sarah Sullivan is the author of the picture book ROOT BEER AND BANANA, illustrated by Greg Shed. Of DEAR BABY she says, "I always wondered how it would feel to have a younger brother or sister. My brother told me a little bit about how he felt when I came along. I suppose Mike's letters grew out of those conversations." The recipient of an MFA in Writing for Children from Vermont College, Sarah Sullivan writes from her home in West Virginia, where she lives with her husband and her cat.
