195Hermann Hesse’s book is the best book I have read on Buddhism. The story tells about the spiritual journey of Siddhartha. The most effective aspect of Hesse’s novel is the way its written. The prose and detailsmake the book an easy read. This is a short book, just 118 pages did\vided in chapters. Every chapter has a particular meaning and the plot is very well contained within. This adds the sacred text in the story. You can read it anytime. This book is appealing to anyone who are interested in knowing about Siddhartha and Buddhism. Hats off to the work by Harmann Hesse.
