About the Author :

Gaurav Dashputra is currently completing his medical education from Dr.D.Y.Patil University in Navi Mumbai. Originally from Nagpur where he finished his schooling, he now lives in Mumbai where he plans to settle down. But most of the odds are against that.

And Then It Rained is his debut novel. He has written two plays for his college festival and is gifted with a great sense of humor and wit which has always helped him be a crowd pleaser.

Gaurav loves to swim and was a national gold medalist in his school days. He is a huge foodie and loves to eat. He is a huge movie buff and a diehard fan of Bollywood movies. He pretty much watches everything. If you see a mysterious black Santro on the streets of Navi Mumbai post-midnight you can pretty much be sure it’s him. Stop him, ask him to pull over and say hi without hesitation. And if that sounds a little bizarre.

  Bring a breath Of Life

  It had been a long time since i had read a good book by an india author, The title caught my attention...the tag line specially being a very in your face kind...Finished this book in 6 hours and was amazed by the brilliance of it...for some reason it is tough to believe that it is the authors debut book. Story is different and really takes your heart away...wont be able to forget Aman Sarin For a long time

  Ohh Hell...It's Raining..:) :)

  Okay I am probably one of those people who have been there through out the making of the book¦and watching it getting launched today is like a Dream come true for me. From the very day when I had read the initial few chapters of the manuscript I have been hooked to it. I still remember how touched I was after reading the first few chapters¦that I managed nagging and irritating Gaurav...to the extent that he finally ended up finishing the entire book..:P..:D As far as the book goes¦when u read it youll realize every chapter has an essence to it. Itll make u laugh Itll make u cry¦Itl make u wanna be in Love...itll make u Dream and in the end itll make u value so many things which u generally dont care about and answer so many questions that u r probably finding answers to. I was seen Gaurav turn into a Zombie while writing the book. From being up all night...to not eating on time to writing for 15 hrs straight¦to hitting blocks where he didnt know what to write next he has really put his heart and soul into making it which is truly commendable. I Would request everyone to give this book a shot...and I Promise u will Love it. Cheers GD..:)
