You Can Win by Shiv Khera is an easy to read and practical book with a straight forward approach that will take one from time honored wisdom to contemporary thinking. I read this book at one of the lowest phases in life and realized that as I flipped through the pages I was gaining confidence to overcome the tumult. It was encouraging to believe that running away from problems wasn’t the solution but staying put with a determination to fight against it, was.

Two main concepts of living life, namely playing to win (inspiration) and playing not to lose (desperation) is well dissected. Besides, the book translates positive thinking into attitude and action, bringing to life the winning edge. ‘You Can Win’ takes situations out of our daily lives and offers solutions by propelling the problem in the positive thrust. The book is exceptionally praiseworthy as each of the argument is backed by real life examples.

The simple language, flowing content and remarkable stories make for an interesting read. It is not fiction, therefore; I would not say it is a gripping book. But if motivation is your pursuit then this book by Shiv Khera is perfect. The emphasis is on finding success, peace of mind and happiness at a level that you reckon is achievable.
