Lens Elements

Consist of 6 lenses in 5 groups. It includes 5x Fujinon optical zoom having f=4.6-23mm focal length and full F3.5 (W) – F6.3 (T) aperture setting, and 6.7x digital zoom. Whether the photographic situation calls for wide-angle into effect or it’s taking close-ups, the optical zoom works equally well across its entire zoom range.

Auto Flash

It’s i-flash, offering 50 cm – 4.5 m (W) and 90 cm – 2.5 m (T). In Macro mode, it covers 30 cm – 80 cm (W) and 80 cm – 1.2 m (T). It also features flash modes such as Auto, Forced Flash, Suppressed Flash and Slow Synchro.  

Display

The 2.7 inch 230k-dot TFT color monitor offers as good as 96% coverage. What it displays won’t allow you to take your eyes off it.

Sensor

It’s 1/2.3 inch CCD with primary color filter. With the featured 14 million pixels, it produces images which are sharp, clear and vividly colorful.

Autofocus

It’s TTL contrast AF featuring Single AF / Continuous AF (SR AUTO, Movie) and AF frame selection options including Center / Tracking.

Image Stabilizer

Digitally stabilizes images. It works by increasing shutter speed whenever the subject is not clear. Thus the end result turns out to be both sharp and clear.

Aperture, ISO & Shutter

Aperture offers F3.5 / F8.0 (W) and F6.3 / F15.0 (T) with ND filter. And the Standard Output Sensitivity it offers 100 to 3200. ISO 3200 is effective in S modes. This sensitivity will work impressively even when there is a low light situation. Its shutter offers 1/4 sec in Auto and 8 sec to 1/1400 sec in all other modes.   

Shooting & Capture Modes

Add art effects through SR Auto, Auto, Program, Natural Light & with Flash, Natural Light, Portrait, Baby, Smile, Landscape, Panorama, Sport, Night, Night (Tripod), Fireworks, Sunset, Snow, Beach, Party, Flower and Text.

If you’re in for recording movies, you can shoot 1280 x 720 pixels, 640 x 480 pixels, 320 x 240 pixels at 30 fps with monaural sound. You can use the zoom function while shooting but sound will not be recorded when optical zoom is in operation.

And there are some very useful photographic functions you have at your disposal. These include SR AUTO, Face Detection, Face Recognition, Blink detection, Framing guideline, Motion Panorama and Date stamp.

What’s more, you even have in-camera editing facility to edit your movies and stills.

Playback

Options include Face Detection, Photobook assist, Image search, Erase selected frames, Slide show, Protect, Crop, Resize, Image rotate, Mark for upload, Multi-frame playback (with Microthumbnail), Motion Panorama, Favorite and Movie edit.

Others

These functions include PictBridge, Exif Print, 35 languages selection, Time difference and Silent mode.
