Display

You couldn’t ask more than what this 8.7 cm, widescreen, 819k-dot OLED touch screen monitor offers to your eyes. What’s special about it is that it comes with anti-reflection coating and 5-level brightness adjustment.

Lens Elements

Consist of 8 elements in 8 groups, including 1 ED lens element. Featured among these lens elements are 10x NIKKOR optical zoom offering 4.5 – 45.0 mm angle of view which is equivalent to that of 25-250 mm lens in 35 mm format, and f/3.2 – 5.8 f-stops. Also, there is 4x digital zoom affording an angle of view equivalent to that of approximately 1000 mm lens in 35 mm format.

These lenses are the eyes of this camera. They’ll show you what your own eyes won’t be able to. This is because they draw your subjects closer for the perfect shot you’re looking for.

In-Built Flash

It’s TTL auto with monitor pre-flashes, offering 0.5-5.6 m (W) and 1.0-3.1 m (T) focusing range.

Sensor

The 1/2.3 inch type CMOS sensor offers 16.79 million total pixels and 16 million camera effective pixels. It’s back-illuminated and works superbly even in low-light situation.

Autofocus

It’s contrast-detect AF which offers approximately 50 cm to infinity (W), 1.0 m to infinity (T) and approximately 10 cm to infinity in Macro mode in wide-angle zoom position. And the focusing area selection include such options as Face priority, auto which features 9-area automatic selection, center, manual which allows you to select focus area using the touch panel and subject tracking.

Image Stabilization

This camera offers combination of lens shift and electronic VR (vibration reduction) for shooting stills and lens shift VR for shooting movies. And for motion blur reduction, it is endowed with motion detection to ward off blurring caused by motion while shooting stills.

Aperture, ISO & Shutter

It’s having electronically-controlled ND filter (-2 AV) selection, which offers f/3.2 and f/6.4 (W)

The standard output sensitivity this camera offers is from 125 to 1600 and if you’re using Auto mode, the ISO setting available is 3200

The mechanical and CMOS electronic shutter, which offers the speed-range of 1/2000 – 1 s, 1/4000 s for continuous high-speed shooting and 4 s in Fireworks show scene mode.

And if you want to shoot movies, you can do so. With this camera you can shoot HD 1080p, HD 720p and VGA 640 x 480 at 30 fps and HS 320 x 240 at 240 fps, HS 640 x 48 at 120 fps, HS 1280 x 720 at 60 fps and HS1920 x 1080 at 15 fps.
