For shooting stills, you’ve got Portrait, Soft Skin, Scenery, Panorama, Sports, Night Portrait, Night Scenery, Hand Held Night Shot, Food, Baby1, Baby2, Pet, Sunset, High Sensitivity, Glass Through and Photo Frame.

Using any of these you can shoot maximum 4 Full-Resolution images at 10 frames/sec in Standard and Fine mode. With AF Tracking on, you can shoot at 5 fps and 2 fps. And there is also Intelligent Burst Shooting available.

If you want to record motion pictures, this camera allows you to shoot 1920 x 1080 pixels, 50i (FSH: 17Mbps / AVCHD), 1280 x 720 pixels, 50p (SH: 17Mbps / AVCHD), 1920 x 1080 pixels, 25 fps (FHD: 20Mbps / MP4), 1280 x 720 pixels, 25 fps (HD: 10Mbps / MP4) HD videos and VGA: 640 x 480 pixels, 25 fps (4Mbps / MP4) STD videos.
