These up-converted signals draw out the maximum performance of an HDMI-compatible 1080p HDTV, giving you exceptionally detailed high-resolution images.
Easy to set up, without a lot of messy cables
The SC-XH50 is compatible with front layout mode, which allows 5.1ch surround sound with five speakers placed in the front. This means that even with space limitations, you can enjoy a real home cinema experience. You can also do away with multiple cables, as the system features the ability to receive audio signals via a single cable from the TV (on top of the pre-existing HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV) thanks to the ARC (Audio Return Channel). This unit is super easy to set up; all you have to do is follow the on-screen instructions.
Distinctive Down Firing design subwoofer
The Down Firing sub-woofer delivers powerful bass through downwards release of sound from the speaker unit & port.
HDMI Output and Up-conversion 1080p
With HDMI connection, audio and video are transmitted without deterioration in sound quality. Both video and audio signals are transmitted via a single cable, making connection easier and reducing clutter. HDMI also enables up-conversion to HD.
VIErA Link Technology for 'one touch' play
HDMIs single cable enables transmission of control signals as well as AV signals. Just hook up to your new VIErA TV and you can use your remote control for all your home theatre entertainment. Switching on, TV input and other settings are all automatically adjusted: just press the button, sit back and enjoy the show.

If you are a fan of music and movies then I think you should go for it. This is a really amazing system. Its just been 2 months since I bought it. It gives clear sound and listening to music at high volume is fun to me now, it has amazing surround sound. Its design enhances the overall look of my room and its well within the range . I am so happy with it.

After a long time I was buying a sound system and so I was naturally very cautious, considering the speed at which audio tech is getting obsolete these days. After a lot of discussions with informed people and having a look at the features of the systems on offer from competitors, I finally decided to go for Panasonic XH50. This is a good system for a beginner like me at a good cost,, VALUE FOR MONEY. The surround sound feature is a pleasure to listen to , if and only if you have arranged the speakers properly. Overall I am enjoying the system and am totally satisfied with the value for the money I have paid..

My husband bought this a year back. Its sound is really amazing. It gives us a theatre experience at home. We enjoy small parties at home now. Everyone loves it. Now daily soaps drama sounds great with all that sounds effects coming from all sides. I recommend this to everyone.

This is one of the best models in Panasonic series. Excellent sound quality, vibrant bass, very good surround effect. No distortion at high volumes. The price is very affordable and it has out classed all other brands. I have checked it out personally and it'ÂÂs found to be the best among other brands.
