Nokia 1208 Review
Easy to use
Hello to all... I have been regularly visiting this site and enjoy it... I find this a very good platform where you can share your views about any product.... Let me start about the mobile that I have been using since last 2 years... If I start listing the features of this phone then I may look like a person from primitive age....
Some of the best thing about this phone is its battery life which is around 75%, even if I charge it once in 3 days it easy works for more than enough... Apart from this it has all the standard features like phone book, customizable right key, flash light (really a very good feature and powerful too), alarm clock, repeat alarm etc.
I addition to that the phone looks really good and decent.. The maximum u pay for this mobile is only 1500 and that's really very good... Cheapest and the best...!!
Have recently bought this mobile from a nearby Nokia dealer at Kanpur... I am using nokia since a period of time and if you understand Nokia users will always go for nokia only coz of its easy functionality and decent looks... Compare it with sony and Samsung or LG also but the main thing is the density of mobiles... Major population is attracted to Nokia only... Though sony have loud sound quality but that is just for some time, later you yourself start feeling it a nuisance...
OK... I was using 6208 before, now have 1208, lets c how it goes... Will update the review very soon with its functions and complete knowledge...
Hii Am Mohan from Ahmedabad... I have always wanted to have low range mobile that has enough space for messages and contacts which is enough for me... I am not a mobile buzzer wanting all the latest features in the pocket.... Undoubtedly, Nokia high range mobiles are the best in the class and best of all...
Further let me tell you about my mobile, 1208 model. I am this mobile from last 18 months and till now it has never given me any sort of trouble... Nothing related to network neither applications neither software... Everything is best about this mobile, the rubberized keypad, and anti slippery back as well as long battery life... Colour screen, light weight and polyphonic ringtones... I just wish a simple radio is added in this mobile than no one would like me should go for high range than this....
IS THIS NOKIA ????
Hey, Amit here...
I bought this mobile four months back, I am having a business of import and export where it is always necessary for your phone be on... I was happy with this phone since two months its purchase but suddenly one fine day I found it getting switched off, even on calls which use to create mess with my every day dealings... I showed it to the nearby dealer and asked to replace the set if possible... The store people accepted to replace the mobile but Nokia has refused to replace and asked only to upgrade the software... I agreed to that but even after upgrading the software its not working properly... Don't understand what sort of mobiles does NOKIA deliver??? IS THIS NOKIA ????
Great Nokia Bettery
Helllllloooo.... Ashish from Delhi...! You guys must be enjoying the site as I am...
Want to tell you something about this fantastic mobile that I have been using since last 1 year... Before starting and let me tell you that this is not for those who are expecting MP3 player and video player where you can watch ALL the things in mobile... This is one for normal mobile lovers who use mobile only for talking
So, Nokia 1208 is brother of Nokia 1200, but this one has upgraded screen colours and additional features like flashlight that you can use for your convenience, tracker feature for better call management and cost control, multiple phonebook and an easy to use menu in a range of languages, GM dual band and EGSM networks as well.
It supports easy SMS, picture SMS and distribution lists as well as holds 32 chord/voice polyphonic ringing tone (with MP3 grade sound). With the help of its hands free speaker phone facility you can always be on call even if you are not using headphones... It has best battery life, I do accept it !!! Apart from that keep your charger in the shelf as you are not going to use it for next 3 or 3 and half days once you charge it... Its too good guys... I can add as many words as you want for this phone... Just go and get it..!
Before you guys just want to inform that always use and check before purchase that you are using only BL5CA battery and standard charger AC3 for this mobile....
In emerging markets around the world, mobile phones are often shared among families and even entire villages. To meet the needs of these customers, many of whom are first-time buyers, Nokia today introduced a new mobile phone designed to meet the unique needs of a shared mobile device, the Nokia 1208. This new cellphone introduces the industry's first call-time tracking application and multi-phonebooks to make phone sharing simpler and more efficient. In order to help manage airtime costs, the call-time tracking feature allows consumers and village phone entrepreneurs to pre-set a time or cost limit on individual calls, automatically ending the call after the limit has been reached.
The easy-to-use multi-phonebook lets customers set up personal phonebooks unique to that user and save specific contacts to that user's phonebook. The Nokia 1208 comes with 5 available phonebooks, so it is possible for an entire family to share a phone, and for each of the family members to manage their own phonebook.
Nokia is the world leader in mobility, driving the transformation and growth of the converging Internet and communications industries.
